New Weekend Mass Time for both OLW and Holy Name: Both communities of OLW and Holy Name have supported the new weekend Mass Times. This change will be effected from Saturday/Sunday 5th -6th August 2023. Mass times will be as per roster, on the door and in the bulletin.
Saturday Night: 6:00pm at Our Lady of the Way
Sunday Morning: 9:00am at Our Lady of the Way
Sunday Morning: 10:30am at Holy Name
Sunday Afternoon: 4:00pm at Holy Name (Vietnamese)
PARISH UPDATES : The PLT met to discuss parish matters with Fr John, and reflected on recent events. We received positive feedback about the Daffodil Day Morning Tea and the Mass with Bishop Thinh, and we noted with gratitude the incredible generosity of our community. Updates:
• Maintenance: Lights and gutters will be repaired.
• Child Care Centre: We are awaiting the Archdiocese’s decision on finding another organisation to manage the lease.
• Upcoming Events: Fr’s Day Mass and Sr O’Shannassy talk
SR MARY O’SHANNASSY – MINISTRY OF HOPE: You are warmly invited to a special gathering with Sr. Mary O’Shannassy, who will share about her remarkable ministry and faith journey, spending over 30 years as prison Chaplain. The event will be held here at OLW Kingsbury, on Wednesday, 8th of October: More information to come.

FATHER’S DAY MASS AND BBQ: You are warmly invited to join our Father’s Day Mass Sunday 7th September at 9am at Our Lady of the Way. Let’s give thanks for all fathers, grandfathers, and father-figures in our community. We invite all to take home a small gift from the Parish to give to your loved ones. Mass will be followed by a Parish BBQ. All welcomed! Please bring a plate to share.
Church Volunteers : Thank you to our parishioners who continue to volunteer and support the parish: Readers, Ministers, Collectors and Counters, setting up and cleaning after mass, organising social events and morning teas, church and garden maintenance to name a few. Thank you for stepping in and supporting the community of Our Lady of the Way. If you are interested in reading, becoming a Eucharist Minister, or wanting to help out in any way, please speak to Fr John or a member of the Parish Leadership Team (PLT)
